Volunteers are at the heart of the one-on-one tutor-mentor matches, and provide the extra individualized attention that makes it possible to offer challenging skills-based enrichment classes. Over 350 volunteers annually are involved in sharing their time, talents, and spirit of caring with the children, youth, and families who participate in our programs. The wide variety of volunteer opportunities, flexible scheduling, training and support, well-structured programs, and rewarding nature of the work make the M-WCSC programs an ideal volunteering experience for college students, parents, and community members of all ages.
