Hillside Youth Theater Production Director – Summer Position

The production coordinates the production team to ensure that youth participants are involved in all aspects of creating the play.  They teach acting techniques using methods appropriate and fun for the children and work with the Music Director to teach dance and movement techniques using methods appropriate and fun for the children. Teaching will include children involved in both the production and the camp.

This position is up to 25 hour/week (averaged over an 8 week period) for a total not to exceed 200 hours.

The Season runs June 13th – Aug. 5th, 2016.

Camp Times with students, Mondays – Thursdays 8:30-12:30; flexible hours outside of camp time for planning.

Extended hours during play performance week – July 24th-27th

Hillside Youth Theater Technical Director – Summer Position

The Tech director works closely with production and costumes to design and create appropriate sets, lighting, and props for the production.  They teach set and prop construction techniques using methods appropriate and fun for the children. Teaching will include children involved in both the production and the “tech crew.”

This position is up to 25 hour/week (averaged over an 8 week period) for a total not to exceed 200 hours.

The Season runs June 13th – Aug. 5th, 2016.
