The Myers-Wilkins Community School Collaborative is seeking a leader who focuses on leader who focuses on building supportive relationships with elementary students, their families and teachers. This is full time position working with our 3rd-5th grade students within our after-school programs.
The family liaison will
- Manage a caseload 35+ 3rd-5th grade students; serving as the lead instructor for daily academic skills-building, enrichment, and life-skills lessons for students enrolled in the after-school and summer COMPASS programs.
- Oversee, train and provide support for volunteers, work-study students and EXCEL teachers.
- Participate in school committees and communicate regularly with parents and teachers.
- Participate in planning and implementing educational and cultural family events sponsored by M-WCSC member organizations.
Teaching degree and valid MN Elementary Education license preferred.
