Position Title:   Denfeld Full Service Community School Site Coordinator

Job Summary/Overview/Description

The Community School Site Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Full Service Community Schools (FSCS) model at Denfeld High School. The Site Coordinator will work in partnership with the Site-based Leadership Team, under the direction of the Denfeld Principal and in collaboration Duluth Community School Collaborative (DCSC) Executive Director to build a community of success. The Site Coordinator will work closely with students, school staff, families and community partners to facilitate connections, coordinate programs, ensure integration of school-community services and alignment of services with the goals and objectives of the DCSC and Denfeld FSCS vision and mission

Family Liaison /Volunteer Coordinator:
The Family Liaison/ Volunteer Coordinator position works closely with families and school personnel to support educational experiences of students enrolled in out-of-school-time programming and ensures academic and social emotional goals are being achieved.  This position oversees volunteer recruitment, training and on-going support to ensure alignment with program needs.Full Time – year round with benefits /  Deadline – Until Position filled

After-School Enrichment Instructor- Myers-Wilkins Elementary School
Have a hobby or interest you like to share? Seeking a way to give back to your community? Consider leading a youth enrichment class at Myers-Wilkins Elementary! The Duluth Community School Collaborative After-School Instructors plan and lead engaging hands-on activities in a specific field in which they have expertise/interest with children in grades K-5. Examples include, but are not limited to: Soccer Skills, Outdoor Explorers, International Cooking, or Engineering. The after-school classes are offered on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays from 2:15-5:00 p.m. Instructors are expected to teach for the entire 10-12 week semester in order to ensure continuity and opportunities for the students to build upon the skills they are learning throughout the course of the semester. There are, on average, 12 children in each class.
